Dapper Dragon

After my wife and I bought my daughter a Bearded Dragon for Christmas, we found out that the heat- and UVB-lamp switching could get pretty complicated. The little guy needed a 12-hour artificial day - if it got too hot during the day, the heat lamp should be turned off but the UVB lamp should be turned off. If it got too cold at night, the UVB lamp should remain off but the heat lamp should be turned on. I decided almost at once that this would be a fun project and, since I was between semesters, it seemed like the perfect time to do it!
