This Projekt is about how to build a simple, cheap but very effective recording light for less than 10 Euros. In contrast to similar projects on the internet, it only consists of an Arduino and RGB LEDs. The Arduino registers as an USB Midi interface. The Recording Light can be used without any additional driver installation. It works perfectly with Logic Pro X. Other DAWs are also possible, but this has not been tested yet. Please note that the Arduino must have native USB capabilities. Arduinos based on the Atmega32U4 or ARM microcontroller can be used. A good choice is the low budget Ardunio Leonardo
