In the 1/8 final match of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA 1000) tournament in Indian Wells, Ukraine’s number one tennis player Elina Svitolina meets with Katerina Siniakova from the Czech Republic.
The tennis match will begin at approximately 12:00 AM on March 12. This will be the fifth time the two have met. Svitolina has won all previous matches. Experts believe the Ukrainian will have the advantage in this match as well. She is expected to defeat her opponent in straight sets.
During the tournament in Indian Wells, the Ukrainian tennis player already managed to beat Laura Siegemund from Germany – 6:7 (5:7), 6:4, 3:6 and American Ashlyn Krueger – 6:4, 6:2.
Meanwhile, Kateřina Siniaková defeated the reigning Russian champion. The Siniakov-Andreeva match ended with a score of 4:6, 7:6 (5), 6:3.
