This circuit of fire alarm was described at:

This project presents an LTspice simulation of this circuit with the possibility to quantify all parameters including the relations between the switch on temperature, and the different values of the circuit elements. The simulation allows to implement tolerances on all the passive elements (thermistor, fixed resistors)
Herunder a picture of the simulation circuit (with all elements included in the libraries)
The ambient temperature changes are represented under the form of a voltage source sensed by a Vishay NTC thermistor (whose temperature is driven by a voltage, through an RC thermal circuit = response time). When the NTC thermistor value goes under a certain level, the npn transistor is blocked, and the 555 works as an astable, feeding the buzzer on. The waveforms look then as follows:
The spice directives include a sweep of a param named run which sweeps the NTC parameters (1% on R25 and on the B25/85). Same can be done for the passive elements. All the user needs to do is replace the R25 value by {mc(R25, tolR25/100)}.
Withe.meas directives, it is possible to compute at which temperatures the fire detector will be on, by looking in the spice log file
spice directive to add :.meas Tswitch find V(Tntc) when -I(R3)=0.1A
The switch temperature can be adjusted by changing the value of R4.
In this circuit, the activation of the buzzer is reversible: if the temperature goes back to normal values, the 555 will switch off.
