This is my xkcd comic viewer for CS 160 at Berkeley. The comics get pulled in, then a flickr search is called and a related image is pulled in to be the background of the page. So the two images don't compete for attention, a grey transparent skin is put over the background flickr image so the xkcd comic pops. Simple navigation includes next, previous, and random, so you can navigate xkcd to your heart's desire
The way xkcd's comics are indexed, I start by showing the newest comic and the "next" button steps back in time, so you can stay on top of the newest comics. Pressing "prev" when viewing the first comic will take you all the way back to the beginning.
