I've been reading and experimenting with advanced electronics, stem cells, brain cells and cell phones for the past 6 years. Fact: Simple electrical signals have been applied towards the repair of articular tissues in the laboratory and clinical settings for over seventy years. Taken together, these findings advance my understanding of the effects of electrical signals and their mechanisms of action, and contributed to my development of the first open-source electrotherapeutic brain-hack that may boost your IQ 420% for at least 2 full hours.
This project is relatively painless and safe, and you can use off the shelf open source hardware components to build.
- Probes: Instead of using expensive DBS Probes, try using Modulo's temperature probe which works just as well. Please note, you must clean the probes with rubbing alcohol (70% or higher) before you insert them in the small incisions you will perform on your skull. Again, this is a perfectly safe procedure. See probes placement below:
- Drill: The best MultiDrive surgical drill comes from from a company called de-Soutter. If you do not have access to such equipment, do not fret. A household drill such as the Black & Decker LDX120C 20V Lithium Drill/Driver will do just fine. Once again prior to drilling the holes in your skull, please make sure you clean the bit with rubbing alcohol. We don't want you getting sick or anything!
- Jumper Wires: Use your favorite jumper wires and pre-solder them to the temperature probes. Red are best, but that's just my bias.
- Power: Preferably a lithium Ion battery with 5A and 10v. You can get one on ebay.
- General: Duct tape and a soldering iron. Do not use masking tape!
- Connect battery, jumper cables, and probes by a simple solder. For safety, solder in a switch in one of the cables as a mechanism to open and close your circuits.
- Drill holes in skull per image above. The slight tingling sensation you may feel is totally normal.
- Insert probes into drilled cavity. You may want to use duct tape to secure probes into skull, and battery to your chest.
I've added a simple schematic you can follow AFTER you up your IQ (a.k.a start without it, and later improve your design with it.)
Are you ready to impress your friends? Ready to smash that test? Get your dream job? Simply turn your on/off switch and start stimulating your brain.
WARNING: Do not stimulate your brain for more than 5 minutes per day, and try to replace the duct tape when it's starting to loosen it's grip.
Keep a chart of your IQ and cognitive powers. This is what you should expect.
ps Don't fret if you experience light headaches after the procedure. This is totally normal for people with high IQ, and eventually, you'll get used to it.
Enjoy the first day of April!
