Touch the screen to begin.
This is the game screen. In this game, the goal is to see how much happiness you can accumulate rabbit before it... well, before its time is up.
When the game starts, it's daytime with a clear blue sky. Small and medium meteorites will fall from the sky, and you need to control the rabbit to avoid getting hit. Also, if you pick up the pink heart (❤) items, your rabbit's happiness will increase, and your score will go up.
After 10 seconds from the start, you'll enter the evening phase. From this point on, the number of meteorites and heart (❤) items falling will increase, gradually raising the difficult.
After 15 seconds from the start, you'll enter the night phase. From this point, a new item, which looks like a pink candy, will begin to fall. This is an explosive item and serves as a rescue tool: when meteorites multiply and you find yourself with nowhere to escape, you can use it to blow away surrounding meteorites and temporarily survive.
When you pick up an item, the ITEM counter will increase. You can use these items by pressing the center button on the M5Stack.
You can use the explosion item by pressing the center button on the M5Stack. When activated, an explosion effect will trigger, destroying all meteorites within its range. The ITEM count will decrease by one each time you use an item.
A "day" in the game lasts 25 seconds, after which the game will transition from evening to night, then back to day, and so on. Once you've completed one full day, large meteorites will start falling from the sky on the second day onwards.
If your rabbit collides with a meteorite, its face will show that it has died, resulting in a Game Over.
When the game ends, you'll transition to the Game Over screen. Here, your final score, playtime, and your all-time high score will be displayed. If you've set a new high score, it will be highlighted. This screen will be shown for 3 seconds before returning to the Start Screen.
For a school project, I took on my first M5Stack lesson. I know M5Stack has many uses, but I wanted to start by making a simple game. So, I decided to create an action game where you dodge falling objects using touch sensitivity. I only had about 20 hours to create it, which wasn't much time, so I knew it would be difficult to make it solely with my current skills. Therefore, I used various websites and AI to help me. Acquiring coordinates was essential for game creation, and I was able to apply what I learned in my school lessons to do this. I had a great time!
