Build Your Own Human Presence Detector In 3 minutes

Introduction

In this project, we are going to build a DIY Human Presence Detector featuring the HLK-LD2410C radar sensor that will transform your space into a smart environment in just 3 minutes. The device will be able to detect movement effortlessly and enhance security, convenience, and energy efficiency.

Materials.

In this simple project, you'll need:

• Carenuity C3-Mini (ESP32_C3)
• A HLK-LD2410C radar sensor
• A Radar sensor adapter.
• A type C USB data cable.
• An Android Smart Phone.

Set up

• Solder your C3-Mini with the long female pin headers
• Solder the Radar sensor adapter with the male pin headers and mount the radar sensor on it.

4. Download the HLK Android app from the Google Play Store

• Turn on the Bluetooth on your Android phone and open the downloaded app
• Power on your device with any source of power and experience the security of your surroundings including any slight motion.

You can integrate this device with your Home assistant and be notified incase of trace passes.
