In these turbulent times, everyone really lacks the usual rituals and actions that allow for a certain balance. One of many people's favourite pastimes is popping the bubble-wrap. 'Under pressure' is a mechanism that does this automatically: a useless machine whose only function is to blow bubbles in the film. The machine is installed in my workshop and through the broadcast on YouTube, anyone can watch it, destroying their stress.
The idea for this machine came many years ago and at first, I conceived it as a very large-scale one. The circumstances gave a different result: on the one hand, it proved important and urgent to carry out this work at this time; on the other hand, the machine had to be produced in small dimensions and with random materials found in my workshop.
The project uses an old and many times used wrapper, which will then be recycled.
