How do you know where people in your life are at any one time? You could call or text, or even use an app if set up correctly. Each of these methods, however, require one more interaction on your phone that takes time away from whatever you were doing before.

The Eta Clock doesn’t actually tell time, but instead shows you where your family or friends are.

The Eta Clock — now on Kickstarter — takes a different approach, and presents this data in the format of an analog clock that is both easy to use and beautiful enough to keep in your house as a display for others.

The Harry Potter-like device uses a tracking app on each of the family or other group’s phones, which control a hand on the Eta Clock. Depending on their locations, each respective hand points toward an icon representing places such as home, gym, work, or airport.

The wall-hanging device works in conjunction with a mobile app that can broadcast user’s specific geolocations.

Hands and face are modular, allowing you to adapt to future life situations. If you get tired of the current design or redecorate your house, your Eta Clock can be upgraded and modified as needed.
