This Red Bull Can Is Actually a Gaming PC

Late night raids run on caffeine, so it is only natural that gamers have a strong affinity for powerful energy elixirs like Mountain Dew and Red Bull. To pay homage to that relationship, Titan3DAZ built this mini gaming PC disguised as a can of Red Bull.

I am using the term gaming PC pretty loosely here, because this is just a Raspberry Pi 5 single-board computer paired with a 512GB SSD. It won’t be running any modern AAA games. But Titan3DAZ built this as a gift for his dad who will use it for retrogaming, so it should be perfect for that. Titan3DAZ installed Recalbox, which is a good choice for emulating older consoles.

The real story here is that Red Bull can enclosure. The “can” is a cylindrical skin for an internal 3D-printed frame, onto which the Raspberry Pi, SSD, and fans mount. Titan3DAZ printed the Red Bull “label” using a eufyMake E1 UV printer.

Check out my review of the eufyMake E1 here if you want to learn more about how it works, but the basic gist is this: it can print onto pretty much anything using special ink cured by UV light. In this case, Titan3DAZ used it with the rotary attachment to print on that cylindrical can. And if you take a close look, you’ll see that Titan3DAZ customized the label with fun Easter eggs. The nutrition facts, for example, are actually the computer’s specs.

As long as Titan3DAZ’s dad likes Red Bull, it is safe to assume he’ll love this gift.
