Decawave’s DWM1000 module enables high-precision indoor positioning, as well as high-speed data transfer over distances up to 300 meters. Prototyping Corner's DWM1000 Breakout is designed to make this module practical for use in maker projects, thanks to its breadboard-friendly form factor, and built-in logic level converter and status LEDs.

DWM1000 modules can be configured as UWB anchors or tags, enabling real-time positioning of a device configured as a tag, based on the placement of static anchor devices.

While usage documentation is coming soon, Prototyping Corner's other DWM1000-based offering, the Ultra-Wide Band Feather, has excellent detail on its project page.

The DWM1000 Breakout with included Decawave DWM1000 ultra-wideband RTLS module and onboard logic level converter is now available on Tindie in limited quantities.
