YouTube channel owners typically keep track of their subscribers by using its built-in analytics and statistics features. It's an easy way to keep tabs on new subscribers, but it's also bland and boring compared to Pick' N Play's Mini Macintosh Classic tiny desktop tracker. The small tracker was designed using an ESP8266 microcontroller housed on a custom PCB from PCBWay. Print' N Play outfitted the Mini Mac Classic with a 128x128 1.5" OLED display and housed all of the electronics in a 3D-printed enclosure using solid 500 beige filament.

Print' N Play wrote the code for his build and designed the icons to match those of the Mac Classic as well, which adds to its overall retro aesthetic. As Print' N Play explains, "It cycles through a bunch of different screens. The hello screen, a screen that shows channel statistics, and I even recreated the classic After Dark toaster screensaver."

Print' N Play has uploaded links to the hardware he used, along with the source code needed to recreate his build in his YouTube video above.
