About Maker Faire Shenzhen
Maker Faire, the Earth’s Greatest Show & Tell, was brought to China by Chaihuo Maker Space and Seeed Studio as the first Shenzhen Mini Maker Faire in 2012. Upgraded as a featured Maker Faire in 2014, it has become the most influential maker event in China. It has attracted thousands of makers from over 60 countries to participate, show projects, and share insightful ideas and experiences.

Maker Faire Shenzhen is back on November 15th-16th, 2025 in Nanshan, Shenzhen. And the call for makersis open!

Maker Faire Shenzhen has been one of the biggest innovation events for the whole maker community. At Maker Faire Shenzhen, like-minded people gather from different parts of the world, show and tell their inventions, ideas, solutions, the latest discoveries in IoT and artificial intelligence, and applications of open tech to solve real-world issues.

Last year, the theme was “Enchant Everything with AI” (Read 2024's event summary by Hackster PRO Arijit Das). This year, its roots have spread deep across every field, unleashing fresh energy in real-world scenarios. As artificial intelligence breaks out of the lab and escapes the confines of code, we are stepping into a borderless era — one where AI is no longer limited to specific domains, but flows into all things like water into soil: enabling glasses to interpret the world, robotic arms to sense warmth, toys to come alive, and cities to grow intelligent neural networks. Introducing "AI and More Things" theme for 2025.

Maker Faire Shenzhen 2025 brings together creators from around the globe to showcase what happens when technology transcends boundaries. Here, you’ll witness the collision of algorithms and hardware reshaping the DNA of industries; tinyML awakening devices no larger than a grain of dust; and large models collaborating with robots to forge a new kind of productivity.
