If you do 3D modeling for a living, or even as a hobby, you’ve probably accepted viewing your creations on a computer screen until it’s made in real life. If you’re like to step into a scene that you’ve drawn, however, Gravity Sketch may be for you.
Gravity Sketch is the first mixed reality 3D design tool for touch and gesture input. It’s now being used on iOS by thousands, but with the team’s current Kickstarter campaign, the goal is to take this tool both to the desktop and, excitingly, as a VR headset application.
The software is not only meant to make 3D modeling easy to learn and use, but will include the capability of co-creation, where more than one person can work on a model at the same time. It’s an exciting concept, and one that could lead to awesome projects both in the real and virtual world!
If you weren’t lucky enough as us to see it first-hand at World Maker Faire, be sure check it out on Kickstarter and in the video below!
