Experience the World Through This VR Selfie Stick

Leading up to the recent U.S. election, our various points of view have been the subject of much scrutiny. What if, however, you could literally change the way you see the world, not through another person’s eyes, but via a selfie stick that you could control? This is exactly what Matt Bierner accomplished with his “selfie reality” rig.

With a seteroscopic camera attached to it, this rig is able to transmit video data to an iPhone inside of a Google Cardboard headset. Bierner can then use this to give himself an over the shoulder perspective (seen in the video below) on the world, or any number of other views that he can imagine.
