Here’s an awesome drum machine, built with a pair of Teensy 3.1 boards. It’s powered by two separate batteries, in nicely 3D-printed holders, and controlled by two sets of knobs and a few switches.

Besides being solid design electrically, and producing the expected drum sequences, the whole assembly is held together quite nicely by a JIGMOD prototyping system. This system allows for dev boards and breadboards to be attached together in a custom manner, so that if you’d like to take things off a bench into the “real world” they might survive more than a day or so. Creator Bob Miller has been carrying it around for well over a month and it hasn’t yet come apart!
