Control Your Arduino Projects From Tasker

Developer João Dias — known by many as joaomgcd — has created a Tasker plugin called AutoArduino. The app, which is now out of beta, enables you to control your Arduino board via USB OTB, Bluetooth, or Ethernet.

If you want to see what the new plugin can do, be sure to watch the videos below. For starters, Dias has used AutoArduino and Tasker to light up LEDs in various colors, send commands to a possessed Furby, and even manage a sprinkler system.

Being able to connect an Arduino to your smartphone gives Makers access to countless sensors and capabilities, making it perfect for everything from simple to complex tasks.
