ANBERNIC recently launched its latest RG351M handheld gaming console successor to the famous RG351P. The new RG351M comes with the same hardware specifications as the RG351P but with the addition of a built-in Wi-Fi module.

The console features an aluminum alloy shell with a 3.5" IPS screen and a resolution of 320x480 pixels. The gaming console is powered by the Rockchip quad-core RK3326 SoC clocked up to 1.5GHz frequency and has an integrated Mali-G31 MP2 graphics card. RG351M has 1GB DDR3L RAM and 64GB onboard memory along with optional support for TF card to upgrade the storage to a maximum of 256GB.

When RG351M is compared to other recently released gaming consoles, the RK3326 SoC is outdated and should be upgraded for better performance. However, the manufacturer has provided a double horn stereo speaker and 3.5mm stereo earphones to offer a high-quality experience. The device runs on a 3500mAh LiPo battery that's expected to last for more than eight hours. It requires 1.3A via a USB cable and can be fully charged in four hours. Most importantly, the console comes with an open source Linux system, which means it is easy to use and even has preloaded games.

The RG351M is available in two colors, matte black and space gray, and can be purchased from ANBERNIC's online store for $139.99, which is $40 more than the RG351P model.
