There are plenty of displays on the market that can be paired with several mobile devices, but none that can match the AirView in terms of connectivity options. The multi-touch screen can work with Android/iOS phones, PCs, laptops, Raspberry Pis, and other SBCs, cameras, and even game consoles. The AirView comes in two different sizes — 13.3 and 15 inches, both with full HD, integrated Miracast and AirPlay support, along with a myriad of USB ports, and HDMI.

On the hardware end, the AirView features an IPS panel with a 1920 x 1080 resolution (@ 60Hz), multi-touch support, a brightness of 250cd/m2 (300cd/m2 for the 13.3-inch model), an SRGB gamut of 98% (100% for the 13.3-inch model), with the dimensions rolling out at 352 x 228 x 9.4mm (310 x 200 x 9.4mm for the 13.3-inch version).

Both come outfitted with HDMI, USB-C DisplayPort, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The AirView packs dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (480Mbps @ 2.4GHz/900Mbps @ 5GHz), three USB Type-C ports for power/data/DisplayPort, and a 10,500mAh battery with around four hours of continuous operation. They also include a power button, dial for controlling brightness, volume control, configuration menu, and 75 x 75mm VESA mountable.

The AirView is currently being crowdfunded on Kickstarter starting at $326 (13.3-inch model) and $350 (15-inch model), respectively. It comes shipped USB PD charger, holster stand, USB-C charging cable, USB-C data cable, HDMI cable, and universal travel adapter. The AirView has already surpassed its funding goal of $6,437 with over $50,000 in pledges, and if all goes according to plan, the display is expected to ship in May of this year for all backers worldwide.
