Anyone that has ever used Windows is familiar with Microsoft’s rotating hourglass wait cursor. Now imagine a real-life version of the icon mounted to your office wall. That is exactly what interaction designer Wolfgang Huther in his recent project.

The Microsoft Hourglass Machine is made of several laser-cut acrylic parts, black sand, and some electronics which include an Arduino board.
