If cardboard was good enough for Google to make a VR headset, it’s certainly good enough to build a robotic arm. The brainchild of Uladz Mikula, CARDBIRD is a simple DIY device that can be created in roughly two hours using Arduino, four servos, a piece of hardboard for a base, and a few clips.

The arm can be controlled either from a computer using a Processing program and your keyboard or remotely with an IR receiver. See it in action below!
