StabiloRose is a LED-based spherical display. Thanks to an inertial motion unit, it adapts the display to its own orientation in order to provide a stabilized image. You can use it everywhere, even in your pool to read your email (yes, it is waterproof!), as a discoball in a party, or to communicate with other balls over the internet.
From this point, you can use it to display basically anything you over its surface, while keeping its orientation : make it roll, or float in the water, your image will always be horizontal (or vertical, or tilted, if that’s what you’re into).
Thanks to a WIFI connection, it can show your notifications (mails, tweeter, Facebook...).
Moreover it can be used to easily implement a game. It is really a multipurpose device, on which you should be able to display anything.
We designed a web client to facilitate the communication and configuration of StabiloRose. After being turned on, it connects to a server. Thanks to a computer or a smartphone, the user can send commands, enable animations...
