There are many lithium ion batteries out there, but it can be difficult, expensive, and time consuming to buy online. I salvage my lithium ion batteries from old vape pens, they tend to be rated at the same voltage and amps as what the pro micro needs to be supplied with. It should be noted, this project did not include a charging circuit, and as such, this battery is doomed. However, it was salvaged from a juul (which cost about $20) which apparently has a really decent battery. best of any I've salvaged, and outputs 4.7v most of the time. It's been weeks and it's not dead yet!

MrBlinky's homemade Arduboy library

allows for alternate wiring when compiling code, this way there's all the features of the original (sound, RGB) at the cost of needing to recompile games using this library. That said, it's really rather straightforward to use. In the library's readme there's a wiring diagram, I used this to guide me, using alternative wiring.

Allows for recompilation of arduboy games for an alternative wiring scheme layed out in readme. The pro micro doesn't have the same io pins brought out that the production arduboy uses, so the alternative wiring scheme is necessary to play games with full sound quality and make use of all three colors in the RGB LED.
