LightBlue Bean Reset Assistant

While organizing a DIY lab at work, we had a frequent need for resetting LightBlue Beans. Doing so with simple wire was tiresome, error-prone, and to say the least, difficult. I created this little gadget to ease the pain.

First, take an 8x1 female header strip, and remove the third pin in from one end:

Next, use wire cutters to cut the headers in that third pin location:

Remove the three center pins:

Next, bend one pin inwards such that it contacts the * pin when the straight connector is inserted into the BAT socket:

Finally connect the two remaining pins with a piece of wire:

When resetting your LightBlue Bean, follow the usual instructions, but instead of fumbling around with wire, use your new assistant.
