Sending Excel data to an IoT Platform
In this example we will send the data present in an Excel spreadsheet to an platform of Internet of Things !
The data is sent to the platform using the WEBSERVICE(url) function .The parameter url is a string that contains more than the 2048 characters that are allowed for a GET request, WEBSERVICE returns the #VALUE! error value.
Let´s create a spreadsheet containing FIFA World Cup titles of the countries and send the values to the platform.
Download the spreadsheet : Spreadsheet download

Taurus IoT plataform has an easy and friendly interface to users. To create an account on it, send an email to alfatech@inatel.br and you will receive an serial number to complete your register.
In this tutorial we are sending the number of titles of each country, but in real applications the data can be money and stock management for example
Platform commands
To create the components in the platform :
update.taurussystem.com/ws/webresources/Add?key=SERIAL&&component=1001&&value=0 where , SERIAL is the serial provided by the administrator , the component code 1001 and the initial value 0 . To choose the component code use the prefix 10 for digital actuators 30 for analog actuators and 20 to sensors.
In the tutorial code this issue becomes clearer , where the code is defined by the Sensor ID column.
To update the sensor values:
update.taurussystem.com/ws/webresources/Sensor/set?key=SERIAL&&sensor=SENSORID&&value=VALUE, where SERIAL is the serial provided by the administrator , the component code is SENSORID and VALUE the amount you want to send .
Hope you like!
