This is a very simple Christmas ornament that is a perfect add on to your Christmas tree.
Things you'll need:- Some thin string
- A 3d-printer
- A clip to hang the ornament
- Spraypaint (optional)
First you will need to download the files that I have published on thingiverse that you can find here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1929807. Once downloaded you can print the objects. I recommend that supports be add for the best quality. When the stars, the rod, and the spacer and printed you can paint the pieces. I chose to paint the pieces gold because I felt that gold was the perfect color for this Christmas ornament. The assembly of the ornament is very easy, it is included in 4 steps below.
1) Place the rod in the bottom hole of the biggest star
2) Place the spacer on the rod.
3) Place the little star inside the big star.
4) Push the rod through, to the top hole on the big star.
Finally to finish off the ornament, put a thin string (I used fishing line) through the small hole in the top of the rod then tie a knot. Place your clip on the string, then hang your ornament on your Christmas tree.
You can have as much fun as you want spinning the stars around :)
