Imagine yourself in front of your PC, playing a game, a strategy game controlled by a Basic program. That's like any other game, right?
Wrong! The computer is only the Artificial Intelligence managing your opponent. The adversary is a complex brain with a ton of robots, lights, motors, sensors and displays, input and output systems. All this is running at the basement cellar providing special effects: real water, smoke, fire, sound and wind. It's possible to control everything via Web or from a few input devices everywhere within the house. System starts and plays alone when it wants, but you can play against it. There are RF communications, Bluetooth to interface keyboards, switches and joysticks. There are two Wifi networks connected, one inside the house and other to the worldwide Internet. A smart GSM mobile system sends SMS to alert about game status, missions completed and so on. There is also a complete Power management controlling temperatures, Watts, Volts, etc. Energy saving systems, control of humidity... etc again!
The story around this project is my real Hacking side: the combination of Sci-fi elements such as Alien and Halo. It's a game project, fully robotised and you will see everything about it: Music, Software, 2D Drawing, 3D Painting and Animation, Multimedia projections and Lasers, Remote Control with and without online Cameras, Communications, Robotics and Electronics for PCB and electric circuit devices. Modelling and miniature's painting, components, materials, tools and inventions...
I'd like to share all this stuff with you freely on this Project. All sources given will make it easier to adapt for other projects, or even other OS and platforms. I'm working with Arduino IDE and programming languages like C, PHP, Javascript, HTML and PureBasic for Mac, but it's easy to convert or adapt small differences between PureBasic for Mac and Windows or Linux versions of this very powerful language.
Probably you'll never replicate this project; demands some high-level knowledge, is too expensive, too mega crazy, too big, too long, too personal...
But you can use all its pics, videos, schematics and sources for your projects and needs.
Hope you like it. Hope you learn something useful for you! For me it is a pleasure!
