Ever wanted to learn morse code, but none of your friends did? Well Tekkikat needs your help! Help Tekkikat drive along while clicking morse code based on the characters that pop up!
This project reads serial inputs from the Edison board (or Arduino boards). The LED lights up and buzzer buzzes whenever you click the switch so that you're learning these morse code queues peripherally while you play the game.
Future features will include levels that will play morse (via LED and buzzer) for you to check that you've been learning your stuff!
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
I used the SparkFun RedBoard and Arduino as a prototypes for my GUI to board testing. The test program changes an LED based on RGB values. The main function of this program was to learn how to connect to the serial port.
Video:
I used the Intel Edison to read the morse code messages via LED and buzzer. Ideally, the Edison board will send information to the game.
