On the phone portion of the app, the user can choose to either be a main user or join a journey. If the user chooses to join someone else's journey, their curious status will be marked as true so friends can invite them. Or they can answer any pending invitations. If the user chooses to be a main user (start their own journey), they will first choose the final destination. They must select from a list of categories and then from a list of nearby places. Then they are able to see more information about the chosen location. A user can go back to the previous screen at any time so they can view multiple possibilities. For example, if Sack's was not currently open, the user could go back to the Cafés Screen and choose Caffe Strada. When the user is satisfied with the final destination, they can invite their curious friends. Curious friends are shown first, and offline friends are listed after that. The user can search through the list if there is someone specific they would like to invite. The names of invited friends appear on the bottom as you add them. You can click on a friend again to uninvite them if you selected them by accident. The user then updates their settings. They must choose one mode of transportation, which factors in to the estimated arrival time. They may select as many preferences as they desire. Lastly, the user can add time to the earliest possible arrival time and begin their journey. Then the watch will guide the user.
On the watch portion of the app, the user can update their curious status. They are notified of any invitations and can accept or decline from the watch or the phone. They will get step by step directions which provide a rough guide for the user to drift through the city toward their unknown final destination. The user can swipe right at any time to see their progress toward the destination and about how much time they have left. The user can add more time if they need it via the menu on the phone.
