Welcome to Solar You! This app allows you to convert your age in years or days, and your weight in pounds or kilograms, from one planet to another!
The following are screenshots of my implementation of the Solar You calculator. There is one field to input a number, and there are two spinners which allow you to choose what units they are in and what planet you are currently on. Pressing calculate updates the numbers and units of all the planets listed below.
Note that if you don't input a number, an error message will pop up at the bottom, and nothing will be calculated.
I decided to keep the app as compact as possible, so all the information could be neatly displayed on one screen. I also had the user choose what units they wanted to input/output. Note that having "pounds" and "kilograms" is largely arbitrary- the ratio between the weights will remain the same. However, some users may prefer one system or another.
